Weekly Update: Condors go 2-1 on road trip last week, return home Saturday
CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors posted a 2-1 record last week, including a split of a two-game series in Colorado. The Condors currently sit in 7th place in the Western Conference with a 13-16-0-1 record and 27 points in the standings. They trail 6th place San Francisco by two points, but have four games in hand on the Bulls and a better win percentage.
They wrap up their four-game road trip Friday in Ontario before returning home this Saturday, Jan. 11 against Las Vegas for Dodgers vs. Giants Pillow Pet Giveaway Night.

The week started with a 3-0 New Year’s Day triumph in Las Vegas, powered by a 17-save performance by G Laurent Brossoit and a pair of goals by C Joel Broda.
After falling by a narrow 3-2 margin in the Colorado opener on Friday, the team rebounded with a 2-1 victory on Saturday to earn a split of the weekend set.
LW Chris Collins scored the go-ahead goal 26 seconds into the third period and G Tyler Bunz posted a 35-save effort to make it stand. Rookie D George Hughes also netted his second of the season in the win for Bakersfield.
